The Aran Currach photographs in this book are of an old working boat that Liam Blake came upon while cycling around the Aran Islands. The process of weathering by sun, wind and salt spray were slowly breaking down the skin, revealing it’s skeleton through the giant carapace as it lay on the rock of Inis Oirr.
